Concert Tonight | Lyrics for our set!

Joy Unspeakable Joy

Joy to the world, the Lord is come
Let earth receive her king
Let every heart prepare Him room

And Heaven and nature sing
And Heaven and nature sing
And Heaven, and Heaven and nature sing

Joy to the world, the Savior reigns
That all their songs employ
While fields and floods, rocks, hills and plains

Repeat the sounding joy
Repeat the sounding joy
Repeat, repeat the sounding joy

Joy, unspeakable joy
An overflowing well
No tongue can tell
Joy, unspeakable joy
Rises in my soul, never let’s me go

He rules the world with truth and grace
And makes the nations prove
The glories of His righteousness

And wonders of His love
And wonders of His love
And wonders, wonders of His love

Joy, unspeakable joy
And overflowing well
No tongue can tell
Joy, unspeakable joy
Rises in my soul, never let’s me go

Flood of Grace

We call on you, Spirit, give us your peace.
Holy Spirit, please gift us with faith that’s increased.
Won’t you fill this place, as we sing your praise?

And give us your vision, pour down your truth,
So we dream and we flourish with eyes set on you.
Won’t you fill this place with your Flood of Grace?

Flood of Grace, Flood of Grace, Flood of Grace!
All who call on the Lord will be saved.

Blow the trumpet in Zion so all the earth hears
Gather your people and make your voice clear
That despite our fall, the Spirit is for all!

Flood of Grace, Flood of Grace, Flood of Grace!
All who call on the Lord will be saved.

Our hearts are torn, we are broken and tattered.
And when we mourn, teach us nothing else matters!

Flood of Grace, Flood of Grace, Flood of Grace!
All who call on the Lord will be saved.

I’m Alive

I lived each day of my old life
As if I was not born to die.
I was guided by my sin.
And then, one day, God came to me.
The scales came off, and I could see
A life that leads to misery.

He said repent and believe!

And now I’ve come to learn the truth,
I’m on the vine and bearing fruit.
I am guided by my God.
So, everyday I live for Christ.
He knew my sin, still paid the price.
I give Him glory forever.

He said repent and believe;
Shed his blood on Calvary!

I’m alive, and I’m not dead in my transgressions
Through the blood of Jesus Christ!
So, I bow down to the one who gave us life
Son of God, our savior, Jesus Christ!

He was more than a good man…
Much more than a prophet, bread of life, yeah!

I’m alive, and I’m not dead in my transgressions
Through the blood of Jesus Christ!

Christmas is Christ

I see the smile upon my baby’s face
Then I think about the year
All the toil, sweat and tears
Our family gathered round the Christmas tree
Christmas wrapping everywhere
Grandma rocking on her chair

But in a joyful Christmas season
I sometimes forget the reason
That in a manger dank and dark
There was a baby born for us
To reconcile all wicked men
That we might be born again

Christmas is more
Much bigger than the retail store
Much bigger than candy canes and Black Fridays
Christmas is Christ

Thousands line up for the latest sale
Do we think about the year,
All the toil sweat and tears?
We rush the altar of our local malls
Looking for the lowest price
No thought at all to God’s own sacrifice

So in this joyful Christmas season
Let’s be mindful of the reason
That in a manger long ago
A baby was born to overthrow
Our castles and Kingdoms built on sand
So that we might understand

That Christmas is more
Much bigger than the retail store
Much bigger than candy canes and Black Fridays

Christmas is more
Much bigger than the retail store
Much bigger than candy canes and Black Fridays
Christmas is Christ
Christmas is Christ

Shema Yisrael

Shema Yisrael, Adonai Eloheinu, Adonai Echad

I’ve got some questions.
Do you know the King of the Jews,
The promised Messiah, the Holy One who you must choose
To gain eternal life and forgiveness from all of your sin?
This King is named Jesus;
He once died, but He rose again.

Shema Yisrael, Adonai Eloheinu, Adonai Echad

Another question.
Do you grasp the three-in-one?
Echad is the usage, yet it means more than the singular one
The Shema, it states the plural
When God could have used the word Yachid
Echad is the usage
The word that God used for Adam and Eve.

Shema Yisrael, Adonai Eloheinu, Adonai Echad

Now my last questions.
Have you read from Yirmeyahu?
God makes a new promise, He makes a new promise
For me and for you.
And how about Daniel –
The prophet who lived in the den of a lion?
Then, read chapter 9
when Daniel predicted the coming Messiah!

Oh Holy Night

O holy night
The stars are brightly shining
It is the night of our dear Saviour’s birth
Long lay the world in sin and error pining
Till He appeared and the soul felt its worth
A thrill of hope the weary world rejoices
For yonder breaks a new and glorious morn
Fall on your knees
Oh, hear the angel voices
O night divine
Oh, the night when Christ was born
O night divine
Oh, night
Oh night divine

Truly He taught us to love one another
His law is love and His gospel is peace
Chains he shall break, for the slave is our brother
And in His name all oppression shall cease
Sweet hymns of joy in grateful raise we
With all within hearts we praise His holy name

Christ is the Lord

Then ever, ever praise we

Noel
Noel
Oh night, o night divine
Noel
Noel
Oh night, o night divine
Noel
Noel
Ooh, ooh holy night

Tender Mercy

Praise to the Lord, the God of Israel
He’s come to redeem His people!
Raise the horn, salvation has come
From the House of David!

The rising son will come from heaven
To shine on those in darkness;
And in the shadow of our deaths,
He’ll guide our feet towards peace…
He’ll guide our feet towards peace.

He forgives our sins…
The tender mercy, tender mercy of God.
He forgives our sins…
The tender mercy, tender mercy of God.

The Lord showed mercy to our fathers,
He remembered His holy promise.
He said He’d save us from all evil,
And take away all our fears…
Take away all our fears.

He forgives our sins
The tender mercy, tender mercy of God
He forgives our sins
The tender mercy, tender mercy of God

He’ll guide our feet towards peace
He’ll guide our feet towards peace

He forgives our sins
The tender mercy, tender mercy of God
He forgives our sins
The tender mercy, tender mercy of God

New Life

The heavens praise your wonders, Lord,
So who am I not to join?
With all I am, I sing your praise
For by your grace, I have been saved!
I’ve been made a new creation
By my God!

You take me, Lord, as I am.
There are no burdens in my path.
Once a broken, wretched man:
I’m made righteous by your hands.
I’ve been made a new creation
By my God!

It’s the start of a new life
It’s the start of a new life
It’s the start of a new life
A new life for me

Give me, Lord, the eyes to see
More of you and less of me.
Give me ears that I may hear.
Help me know that you are near.
I’ve been made a new creation
By my God!

It’s the start of a new life
It’s the start of a new life
It’s the start of a new life
A new life for me

I was lost, but now I’m found
My whole world turned upside down
I’ve been made a new creation!

In May, 2005, Rob was a secular, Jewish, thirty-something, Los Angeles, personal injury attorney whose idea of getting up early on a Sunday was getting up for the third quarter of the first televised, NFL games.

Thirsting on the idea of playing in a band for the first time in a decade, Rob finally accepted his neighbor's request to get up at seven-in-the-morning on Sundays in order to participate.

Eleven months later, his world was turned upside down by Jesus. Instantly, he began leading songs on the worship team and, today, he now leads that same LIFEhouse worship team in which he was initially invited to join as a non-believer.

God is cool like that.
