Sneak Peek of “Christmas is Christ” Lyric video

Here is a sneak peek at my upcoming video for the single “Christmas is Christ”

My Baby’s First Christmas Lullaby

I tried my hand at orchestral music production last year, and I decided to share the music with the world… I think that it works great as a Christmas lullaby to help get your family into the Christmas spirit and to get your babies to sleep!

“Dreams I Didn’t Even Know I Had”

“Dreams I Didn’t Even Know I Had”

I am releasing my latest Christian worship CD on November 15th… it will feature my Christmas song “Christmas is Christ” and the Advent song “Tender Mercy” (originally released as a single last year). The music is recorded and out for mastering. You can help me in getting this project out by participating in my Kickstarter […]

One more for Advent! Light One Candle To Watch For Messiah – An Advent Hymn

One more for Advent! Light One Candle To Watch For Messiah – An Advent Hymn

I have said it before and it bears repeating for this blog post that because I became a Christian just over 7 years ago, an “old Christian hymn” for me is anything off of Chris Tomlin’s Arriving. So, I am always greatly appreciative when a brother or sister who has been in the faith much […]

12 Songs For Advent

12 Songs For Advent

This season, I have become a lot more appreciative of the meaning of Advent and have searched out for relevant advent songs (and arrangements) to present to the church. Particularly, I have been focused on the concepts of light and of waiting. If you are a worship leader who has been struggling to do the […]

Why does Santa hate Jewish kids?

Why does Santa hate Jewish kids?

I saw this tongue-in-cheek question posted by one of my Jewish Facebook friends, and it inspired these thoughts… “Why does Santa hate Jewish kids?” I grew up a secular Jew, son of a Jewish Mom and agnostic Dad (who was an altar boy at an Anglican church as a kid). We celebrated Christmas every year, […]

Luke 9: Some holiday scripture to remind us of our faulty human nature

YouTube Christian Collab II Update: We have raised $152.18 for poconoprc.org as of this update. Won’t you join us? I am directly ripping most of these thoughts from my Pastor, but I am passing them on to you as I feel led to this morning. Maybe it is something that needs to be said to […]

The War on Christmas?

The War on Christmas?

YouTube Christian Collab II Update: We have raised $132.19 for poconoprc.org as of this update. Won’t you join us? I will admit it right off the bat. I am not a big fan of the “warfare” analogies that are used among Christian circles. I made a previous video on this issue of “spiritual warfare” between […]

In May, 2005, Rob was a secular, Jewish, thirty-something, Los Angeles, personal injury attorney whose idea of getting up early on a Sunday was getting up for the third quarter of the first televised, NFL games.

Thirsting on the idea of playing in a band for the first time in a decade, Rob finally accepted his neighbor's request to get up at seven-in-the-morning on Sundays in order to participate.

Eleven months later, his world was turned upside down by Jesus. Instantly, he began leading songs on the worship team and, today, he now leads that same LIFEhouse worship team in which he was initially invited to join as a non-believer.

God is cool like that.
